They placed 2nd.Our kids decided to try swimming out this year, so they have been practicing with the Porterville Hurricane Swim Club. I have been so impressed at how hard they have been working to learn new strokes and improve on their techniques. Both Jeff and I are very proud of them.
Ashlyn gets ready for the 50 yard BreastrokeThey had their first swim meet last night against the Visalia Seahawks. I never realized how late these meets run. We started at 6:30 and the meet didn't end until 10pm. School is out, so that is good, but Jeffrey is in Summer school so we were up bright and early at 7 to take Jeffrey to school by 8am. Good job kids!!
Great Job Ashlyn and Jeffrey. I used to swim and loved it. Looking at the pictures brought back great memories!
